Complete Hydronic System Components for Data Center Cooling

American Wheatley provides a comprehensive range of components, fabricated in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Division I, specifically designed for modern data center colling applications. Our products are compatible with chillers, cooling towers and chilled water distribution systems, regardless of the manufacturer.

Flow Control & Stabilization

  • Flow Diverters: Optimize system flow patterns for maximum cooling efficiency. Flow Diverters replace multiple components with a single unit. A single Suction Diffuser/Flow diverter replaces an elbow, strainer and stabilizing entry pipe, resulting in easier/more efficient install and a compact piping design.
  • Buffer Tanks: Prevent chiller cycling during variable loads, improving system efficiency and extending equipment life. The benefit of a buffer tank is that it allows the system to be more efficient during low load periods. The system will fill the water needs from the tank allowing the chiller to cycle off, utilizing less energy. And less run time results in reduced maintenance costs.

Air Management

  • Air Separators: Remove entrained air for improved system efficiency. Removing entrained air reduces rust build up in the piping system, and allows the hydronic fluid to be as efficient as possible. Water transfers heat much more efficiently than air.
  • Air Purgers: Eliminate air that can compromise system performance.
  • Air and Dirt Separators: Maintain system cleanliness for optimal performance. American Wheatley Air & Dirt Separators remove up to 99% of entrained air and small debris particles, resulting in a cleaner, more efficient system.

  • Full Acceptance Bladder Tanks: Accommodate thermal expansion while maintaining system pressure.
